Here is a good illustration of how strong the winds are here.
We got our driver's licenses, ordered our license plates, and registered to vote today. We walked out with our new driver's licenses 25 minutes after we walked in. One couple did not have all of the documents they needed, and became quite frustrated. One of the employees referred them to the company that supplied us with the appropriate documentation.
When we eat out, we like to try local restaurants wherever we are. This place was recommended for breakfast, but we went there for dinner. It was like Elmer's on the West Coast. Good, but not great. Ted had delicious Walleye.
This is our official home. We are presently in an RV park behind this building. In addition to spaces for RVs, they have rooms that can be rented in order to establish a residence. The company is owned by full time RVers who decided that there was a need for someone who could supply assistance getting properly established in South Dakota. In addition they can provide RV repair service, broker the sale of an RV, and have an insurance broker who can write for a number of companies.
