Sunday we moved 20 miles north to the Columbia Riverfront RV Park, Woodland, WA. We have been here numerous times. When it is hot in Portland, it is usually nice here. That is a ship carrying automobiles.
We dropped off the coach at an RV remodeling company to have two light fixtures replaced to match ones we had done previously and to attach two reupholstered arms for a chair. Then we drove 25 miles to Portland to play in The Pearl District. This was the warehouse area when we moved here 23 years ago. Now it is affluent and trendy.

Most women get off on shoes, clothes, jewelry, household items. Penny's passion is fabric and art supplies. That is our Jeep. When we got out of the car and Penny realized we were in front of huge art supply store, she made a bee-line inside. She found two items that she had been looking for the few months. Her day was made.
These are the door handles of a "paint-your-own" pottery store.
Andina is a Peruvian restaurant on Glison. Yelp gives it 4 1/2 stars and $$$. We are at Cafe Theobroma on 11th. It was good and $. Forgot to take a photo.
Many of the warehouses are now shops, businesses, and lofts, but there are also many new high rises, like this one. It was a fun day.
