Backroads in Indiana

Who says that the midwest is flat and boring? This is along SR 10 in northern Indiana as we were driving from Remington to Elkhart, Indiana, where we will have warranty work done on the coach.
We took the backroads so that we would see scenes just like this. The roads were good and there was little traffic.
This barn is just west of the house in the next two photos. There is also a huge steel building behind this that is painted to match the rest of the buildings. Wonder what this guy/gal has done to make his/her money
Beautiful.
There are many Victorian details on this house. Ted and I said that we wouldn't mind living in the garage or barn. The property drops off at the back so they have a great view. The nearest town is many miles away.

We will take the coach to the manufacturer on Monday and leave it until June 18 while we go to Chicago for a visit and then fly from there to Great Britain. As Ted says, "We have to be somewhere while they work on the RV. We might as well be somewhere cool." We are going to visit England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. We plan to do a thorough job so that our next trip will be to the continent. We will be checking email while we are gone so stay in contact. If you have any "must sees", please email them to us. I hope to keep this blog updated, but we will see how that goes.
